Paddling
Lazy Days Parksville RV Resort has the paddling covered from canoe, to kayak to SUP (stand up paddling); there are rivers to explore and wide open calm waters to paddle!
For the adventurous, the waves and chop can provide fun surf.
Canoe(1), sit atop kayak (1), paddles and safety gear (included in this rental).
Paddle boards can be rented on the main Parksville Beach (not included in this rental).

Beaches
Lazy Days at Surfside RV Resort in beautiful Parksville, BC has a private beach for members and their guests; with an island to explore or swim around.
The main Parksville Beach where the famous Sand Castle competition is held - a 5 minute walk - has a boardwalk that is great for walking the dog, and the beaches at low tide go on forever for you to walk hand in hand or play in the sand with your children.
The beach sunsets are something out of a fantasy! Beach combing, finding shells, and building your own sand castle are many of the activities found at the beach!
There is also a water park, outdoor gym, sand volleyball court, baseball diamond, among a few more of the activities available within 5 minutes of your RV site.

Artistic Creative Crafty
Parksville has Robert Held Art Glass Studio and Gallery among many other local artisan shops along its busy downtown core.
Parksville is home to an award winning craft brewery Mount Arrowsmith Brewery where you can taste their brews and take home a growler of your fave!
Take a nice bike ride to the local shops and great coffee! Enjoy the Sand Castle competition while it is on mid-July to mid-August!

Riding
Parksville is bike friendly with bike lanes and many mountain bike trails as a map can be found at Arrowsmith Bikes Shop .
Lazy Days at Surfside RV Resort is great for kids on bikes! Speed limit is 16km for cars. Many members and guests ride their bikes, roller blade or use a golf cart to get around the RV Resort amenities.
On route, guests may see local deer, rabbits and many birds such as eagles, hawks, Brandt geese, Blue herons and more!
